A team of five faculty members of Universiti Malaysia Perlis, Kangar participated and exhibited six products at the 38th International Exhibition of Inventions Geneva at Geneva during the first week of April 2009. The exhibition was organized by Salon International des Inventions and conducted at Geneva Palexpo, Geneva. More than 500 participants from various countries namely Croatia, Poland, Iran, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, France, Spain, Italy, China, Sri Lanka, Russia, Republic of Korea, Rumania, Switzerland exhibited their products. UniMAP exhibited six products and won three Silver and three Bronze Medals. Professor .Dr.Uda Hashim, Associate Prof. Che Mohd Ruzaidi Ghazali and Associate Prof. Dr.Paulraj M P won silver Medals for their products “Single Electron Quantum Dot Transistor”, “Agro Fiber Composite Panel” and “Intelligent Diagnosing System for Voice Disorder” respectively. The three Bronze Medals were won by Bronze Medal En. Mohd Mustafa Al Bakri Abdullah, Pn.Norazian Mohamed Noor and Dr. Supri A Ghani for their products “SSDEM© Statistical Software for fitting Distribution and Estimating Values in Environment Data Set”, “Modified Artificial Aggregate from Polymer Waste for Non-Structural Concrete” and “NESM: Modified Nano Egg shells Based Composite System” respectively.
